The "New Year" ushers in a new look at Mosaica HardSurface

With 2017 now in the rearview mirror, it's time to take a moment to reflect (pun intended). Last year was a great but challenging year for Mosaica. As always, we appreciate each and every avenue of business that we received and want to thank our new clients, old clients, friends and family. It was mid-way through 2017 that we made a decision to diversify our portfolio of business and solidify a handful of new long-term business relationships in an effort to make 2018 our best year to date. Walt Disney once said "Progress is impossible without change", so in Q3 of last year, we did just that. We decided to rebuild our team and rebuild our infrastructure. We spent the final 90 days of the year recruiting some of the best talent in our marketplace and assembled an incredible team of employees. This is the first time our company has had a true mix of field install leaders and internal fabrication specialist. Our next step was to improve the company's infrastructure in way that would maximize the abilities of the new team. We worked tirelessly to follow through with things that we had talked about for years but never had the means to execute. By the time the ball dropped on New Year's Eve, we had successfully taken solo ownership of our bridge saw, purchased all new tooling and had gotten our CNC fully operable, dug and set channel drains, installed a state of the art water filtration and reclamation plant allowing us to recapture 70% of our daily water usage, run air and water lines to 3 new polishing stations and placed 5 new fabrication tables in our finishing area. We have some big things in the works for 2018 and we are finally "tooled" up to take them all on. None of this would have been possible without the people that allow us to work for them. We raise our glass and say "Cheers and Happy New Year to you all". - Jay and Cory
